About Tyler Gargus
Tyler, a student of Heath High School, passed away November 15, 2009. He was born in Fayetteville, N.C., on August 28, 1992 to Chris Gargus and Kay (Norris) Gargus.
Tyler was a lifetime member of the Family of Faith Community Church, where he also played the drums in the church youth band. Tyler was a very personable man who enjoyed sitting and talking to people. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Chris and Vicki Gargus, of Heath; paternal grandfather, Steve Gargus; maternal stepgrandparents, James (Marlene) Jones Jr. ; brother, Jason Gargus, of Heath; stepbrothers, Jon (Roberta) Porter, of Newark, Jason Porter, of Newark, and a half-sister, Erica Gargus; aunts and uncles, Dan Gargus, of Newark, Jameson (Diane) Gargus, of Heath, Terri (Kirk) Lavigne, of Akron, Keith Jones, of Mount Vernon, Rebecca (Fred) Jones, of N.C., Lynwood (Kaye) Norris, of N.C., Renate (Roy) Eldridge, of N.C., Tony Norris, of N.C., and Anita (Keith) Long, of N.C.; cousins, Jamie Lavigne, Josh Lavigne, Taylor Long, Rodney Jones and Travis Eldridge.
Tyler is preceded in death by Diane Gargus, A.L. and Grace Norris, Sally Rewis and V.P. Gargus.
